Lynval Golding is an English Jamaican-born musician. His family moved from Jamaica to Gloucester, before moving to Coventry at the age of eighteen. He currently lives in Gig Harbor, Washington. He is best known as a rhythm guitarist and singer for the British band 2 Tone Records, the Specials. He then co-founded the Fun Boy Three with Terry Hall and Neville Staple. He was recently on tour with The Beat, a reunited version of another second ska wave band. He started a band in Seattle, Stiff Upper Lips, a short-lived band, but recently re-established as Gigantor. In 2007, he appeared live at the Glastonbury Festival on the Pyramid Stage alongside Lily Allen and team members Specials / Fun Boy Three Terry Hall. He also performed on the park stage, again with Terry Hall and Blur's leader Damon Albarn and beatboxer Shlomo playing a hit by The Specials "A Message To You, Rudy".
